I spend so much time on my normal lj that I forget to update this one sometimes...

Lately, I've gotten into the habit of updating my status on myspace pretty much daily. Dunno why, I just do. Maybe because I hate posting blogs and stuff, but I like letting people know that I do actually still use the damn thing.

Though, honestly, here on lj is the best way to get in touch with me. I love lj. This is my fourth account since 2004, and I still use three of them (this one, my personal one, and my writing lj). It's nice and simple, and it's not as annoyingly "mainstream" as myspace and facebook (for the record: I do not have a facebook. I will NEVER have a facebook. and I only use myspace when strictly necessary. lj is more than enough for me)

Anywho... My life is pretty much at a very irritating stand-still. I'm still broke and having a hell of a time finding a job. No job=no money for better instruments=no music career >.<

I wanna practice properly! I wanna play lives! I wanna record stuff and start getting out there! We already have a couple fans, and I want to reward them for their patience. I want Rainbow Revolution's first release to be something that makes them smile and think "it was worth the wait." But I don't want that wait to be any longer than it already is!

I'm so impatient. Every day, I long for the glow of stage lights, the sound of screams and cheers. I crave it. Music and attention... they're like drugs to me. No, more than that... Music is the air I breathe. I need it like I need oxygen.

I can't stand this WAITING anymore!!

Lately, my lyrics seem to continuously circle around the same two subjects... It's sort of getting on my nerves, but I can't seem to get my mind to focus on anything else. Even when I'm trying desperately to write something for the series I'm working on, or something that's actually worthy of RR... Still, all I can think about is my dreams for the future... and him... Sometimes, they're the same thing. Sometimes, I don't want a future that doesn't have him in it. It's so pathetic...

Such a drastic difference from the emo crap I wrote in high school, but I'm not sure what's worse. Morbid songs about murder and suicide, or obsessive love songs and half-assed "inspirational" lyrics that will probably never get finished?

I really just want to leave the writing up to the ones who are actually good at it - my band mates - but they're always encouraging me, and I hate the thought of letting them down. Plus, I've been writing since I could hold a pencil. I tried giving it up, and failed miserably. Even though I know I suck at it... I'd be lost if I didn't write.

So, I continue to make sad attempts at poetry that will never amount to anything, and reluctantly show them to the others, desperately hoping they can do something with the worthless crap I jotted down on a whim.

Hey guys,

I know we've been announcing that the Kami memorial is going to be from 11am today to 11am tomorrow (EST), but due to an unforseen issue with schedules, it will just be at our normal time: 6-8pm today. It will also be run off the usual site, so no need to try to remember a new url just yet, kiddies ^.~

Hope to see you all on blogtalkradio.com at 6pm tonight!

Hey everyone!

Sorry to say, due to an unexpected issue this week, Rainbow Revolution Radio will have to be cancelled.

We will be back next week at our normal time.

Sorry again, especially since it's such short notice.

I was just discussing band stuff with the other two earlier... mainly whether or not we should replace Rin, or stick with just three members. I meant sometime in the future, after we've started to get some work done as three.

Then someone friended Sora just now, looking for bandmates.

She's all excited about it, and messaged them saying she needs to ask our leader first (Sayuri <33 also, it's true. all band-related issues need to be run by, and okayed by, her first), but that we have most of the band, blablabla...

I sorta have mixed feelings about this. I brought it up randomly because I've been thinking about it, but as something to think about in the future, and none of us were really able to decide which would be better for RR overall. As Yuri-chan said, there are a lot of pros and cons.

I dunno... it's all up to Sayuri anyway. I'm not the leader, and have no desire to be. She's the level-headed one who almost always knows what to do (or fakes it real well. XD)

Hey everyone!

Sorry to post again, but I just wanted to give you all a heads-up that there's been a slight change. Due to a slight timing issue, this week's episode of Rainbow Revolution Radio has been pushed back to 6:30pm EST.

It'll still be the usual 2 hours, and we're still going to have Angel on, but we had to push it back to 6:30-8:30pm ths week. I know that means we run a half hour into Tainted Reality, and I apologize, but we didn't really have much choice. ^^;

Hope to see you all there!
Hey guys, guess what? This week on RRR, we finally have another guest!

Some of you may remember him as one of DJ SiSeN's dancers during BLOOD's last American tour. Others might simply know him as one of the best local DJs in Rhode Island. Either way, he's exceptional - and adorable!

This week, Rainbow Revolution will be joined by the charismatic, kawaii cyber-kid, DJ Angel! Great moves, cool fashion, amazing in the booth, not to mention a face and personality to match his name... DJ Angel really seems to have it all, and he's going to share it with us, live on Rainbow Revolution Radio!

So make sure you catch us this Thursday night, from 6 to 8 EST, for great music, and lots of fun with me, Sayuri, Sora, and DJ Angel!

See you there!

It's my turn for a theme on RRR this week! It's gonna be so much fun. ^-^ I get to babble about girls!

That's right, folks, this week's theme is "Girls". I'll be playing nothing but female artists and female-fronted bands - well, Asian artists/bands, anyway. Gotta keep with RRR's overall theme: bringing Japanese and Korean music to the masses here in the boring shitty arrogant grand ol' US of A. *rolls eyes*

There will probably be lots of boobie talk. Can't help it. Most girls have boobs, and I like boobs. It's kind of inevitable. XD

So be sure to check it out this week at http://blogtalkradio.com/rainbow_revolution!!
We were very nearly fucked over for the whole month on RRR. Sora wasn't paying attention and put every single episode on a Tuesday, instead of a Thursday.

I am SO fucking glad I couldn't sleep and decided to check btr. I would have been PISSED if we didn't see that until it was too late.

This Thursday, RRR will be back on our normal time - 6pm-8pm EST - and we'll have two special guests on at once! We finally worked things out with Roger, so he'll be coming on and chatting with us while he gets things ready for TR... And everyone's favorite Bach-loving scatterbrain, GPK, has promised to join us in the chatroom (if he's awake)!

So be sure to join me, Sayuri, Rin, Sora, Youko, Roger, and Ken this Thursday night from 6pm to 8pm EST (or 7am-9am, for those of you in Japan ^^;)

Hope to see everyone there!
